Photocatalytic filter

photocatalytic filter

Under the role of UV light, photocatalytic filters convert harmful air pollutants into water and carbon dioxide.

Titanium dioxide, activated by UV rays, catalyzes the oxidation of the organic pollutants absorbed on its surface. The VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are therefore degraded into water and carbon dioxide.

Nano-TiO2 is applied to the surface of the filter, which has a honeycomb structure to maximise the reaction.
